Project One provides scholarships for military kids to attend the Naval Academy’s Summer STEM program.

Summer experiences can impact a teenager’s world in ways that last a lifetime. Why not theirs?

The opportunity.

The Naval Academy’s Summer STEM program is a week-long camp for rising high school students. They’ll get to work with students from all over the country as they test their problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration skills.

Students will have access to world-class facilities and instruction. And they’ll have a lot of fun!

The scholarship.

The Ready Room Project scholarship provides full tuition, covers incidentals, and funds travel for students who need it.

Summer programs can be life-changing experiences, and their expense shouldn’t disqualify our military kids.

Eligibility.

The Summer STEM program is for any rising 9th, 10th, and 11th grader with an interest in science, technology, engineering, and/or math fields as a career or course of study.

The Ready Room Project scholarships will go to kids with at least one active duty parent or guardian in any branch of military service.

We’re looking for students with a wide range of interests, geographic locations, branches of service, and academic backgrounds. You don’t have to be interested in joining the military or going to the Naval Academy!
